So very sad!! She was about 18 but just had the best motives, but giraffes are strong. Thank goodness they did not kill the giraffe, but it shows what can happen. I mean a good job for the Autism Elephant It’s ok to be a little different shirt but the mother and foal should have been moved to a baby safe temporary enclosure until he was strong enough.

These births are really unpredictable so they probably didn’t have time to move mama once she went into labor. Looks like the baby stumbled into the Autism Elephant It’s ok to be a little different shirt shortly after it was born. I’m sure they moved them into their holding pen as soon as they were able.
